Cervical cancer is the 10th most common cancer among women in Singapore between 2017 - 2021. Despite high awareness of testing, in 2022 only 2 in 5 women (43.1%) aged 25 to 74 years reported that they had gone for a cervical cancer screening in the last 3 to 5 years.

Globally, 350,000 people died from cervical cancer in 2022. 94% of these deaths occurred in low-to-middlen income countries.
